Reunited with Her Viscount Protector

She can trust him to keep her safe…

But can she trust herself?

Widow Dawn Fenton has heard rumors that her old sweetheart Jack Valance is back in town—and he’s no longer penniless, but a wealthy viscount! She’ll avoid him at all costs, especially as he’s honor bound to wed another. But as Jack steps in to help her protect a vulnerable child in her family, Dawn must face up to the truth: she wants him to stay!

“There is everything a story needs to have—instant chemistry, lie and deception, a fugitive girl, a bit of jealousy and ... a lot of love”

I have read all her books and this one does not disappoint. Her books are all in the romantic style and well written. What more could you want, escapism at its best. 5 star amazon review

Welcome to my website

Thank you for visiting the official web site of  Mary Brendan, author of  Historical  Romance.

I enjoy writing historical novels set in  the Regency era and I guess you like reading about a period renowned for its refinement, yet that had a thriving underworld  just a short distance from Mayfair's elegant ballrooms.

I aim to create feisty, intrepid  heroines who are more than a match for the roguish  heroes with whom they fall in love.  Where possible, I like my plots to contain a thread of danger and mystery, set against a contrasting background of gracious living.  Charismatic courageous characters  might pit their wits against adversaries of an equal or different status in life.  Not every wealthy aristocrat was decent and law abiding, neither was every poor scamp a thief in the making.

I  like to hear from readers which of my books have found favour with them, so please get in touch via my links, if you would like to.
